Support to the growth of the sector

«Grindeks» is the active member and supporter of numerous organisations - Pharmacists Society of Latvia, Association of the Latvian Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry, Latvian Employer’s Confederation, Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Latvian Quality Association. On the international level, «Grindeks» is the member of UN Global Compact and partner of the Global Chemical Industry Program “Responsible Care”.

In 2006 «Grindeks» was the general sponsor of  the 13. congress of EAMHMS "Medical museums and Disability".

2006 Donation of 5 000 lats for the Hospital of Vilnius University.

2005 «Grindeks» is the supporter of the Congress of the Latvian Association of Physicians.

2005 General supporter of the EuroPharm forum.

2005 Small Academy of Cardiology is established, giving the possibility for the doctors to attend educating lectures and discussions about the important questions related to cardiology.

1998 «Grindeks» donates 4000 lats for the establishment of the Cabinet of Hypertension in the hospital of Gaiļezers. In this manner donations to hospitals are diverted regularly, not only in Latvia.

Spring – autumn1996. In cooperation with the Centre of Oral Health «Grindeks»and the Dentistry Centre of the Health Department of the Ministry of Welfare of the Republic of Latvia participates in the implementation of national prophylaxis programme, while organising educational seminars about the importance of flour and its necessity in the maintenance of healthy teeth.

Since 1994 «Grindeks» is the main supporter of the Pharmacist Days.
