Russia is one of the biggest realization markets of «Grindeks».

On September 19, 2006, JSC «Grindeks» registered its daughter company in Russia – Ltd ««Grindeks» Rus». To secure effective participation in this region «Grindeks» Rus» has created a wide network of representative office. Main task of these offices is to secure registration process of medications in the respective region, sales of medications as well as promotion of the medications in the local market while creating stable cooperation with the main wholesalers and organising events for the provision of the awareness rising about «Grindeks» brand.

On 23 January, 2008 OJSC «Pharmstandard» (LSE: PHST LI, RTS: PHST RU) and JSC «Grindeks», Latvia, announced signing of long-term collaboration Agreement. According to Agreement «Pharmstandard» accomplishes exclusive distribution and promotion of Mildronate® and Ciklodols® in Russian Federation from 01 February 2008.

«Grindeks» also exports to Russia active pharmaceutical ingredients - oxytocin and droperidol since 2001. Currently "«Grindeks»" is actively working on registration of new veterinary substances in this market.
