JSC «Grindeks» Foundation "For the Support of Science and Education" informs thatt oday, on 29 December, it has awarded teachers, higher educational institutions` teaching staff and educational institutions for the significant contribution to promoting education. The total premium amount - 18,100 lats. Laureates - each teacher received a premium of 700 lats; higher educational institutions` teaching staff - premium of 1,000 lats, in its turn, educational institutions received support premiums of 5,000 lats.

Profit of «Grindeks» in the first nine months of 2011 – 5.85 million lats

Today, on 24 November, the financial statements of the JSC «Grindeks» on the first nine months of 2011, submitted to “NASDAQ OMX Riga”, indicate that the Turnover of the Group amounted to 48.9 million lats in the first nine months of 2011, which is by 2 million lats or 4.3% more than during the first nine months of 2010. In its turn, net profit of the Group, related to the shareholders of the holding company, amounted to 5.85 million lats in the accounting period, which is by 0.65 million lats or 12.5% more in comparison with the first nine months of 2010. In the first nine months of 2011, gross profit margin of the Group was 61.5%, whereas, net profit margin comprised 12%. Products of the Group, manufactured during the accounting period, were exported to 48 states worldwide for the total amount of 46.1 million lats.

JSC «Grindeks» informs that it has received the Statement of «Grindeks» Chairman of the Board Janis Romanovskis on his resignation from the position of Chairman of the Board starting from 24^th of November. Janis Romanovskis decided to leave the company of his own volition.
