On December 21, «Grindeks»’s gnomes delivered to University Clinical Children’s Hospital the sacks filled with Christmas gifts – surprising presents provided by «Grindeks»people – various toys, games and other things useful for creative activities.
The presents, together with every good wishes to little hospital’s patients, were received by Dzintars Mozgis, Hospital Director and R.Namniece, Hospital Public relations specialist.

On December 17 2007, the Chairman of Employees union of JSC «Grindeks» Gunārs Skubiņš and the Chairman of the Board of JSC «Grindeks»Janis Romanovskis signed a collective labour agreement for 2008.
The provisions of the agreement apply to all employees of JSC «Grindeks»and provide the conditions that ensure social security for the employees

On 12th November the Fund for the Support of Science and Education held by «Grindeks», the leading pharmaceutical company in Baltic states, has granted the most distinguished and young Latvian scientists, teachers, academics, as well as educational establishments awards and scholarships to the amount of 30 000 lats.

On 25 October, the newspaper Dienas bizness granted awards TOP 500 to most successful Latvian companies which had their overturn increased most rapidly in 2006, thereby contributing to company’s and state’s economical advance.
«Grindeks» JSC has received the main award of TOP 500 in the group of large-scale manufacturing enterprises. The prize had been handed to Vadims Rabša, Finance and Administrative director of «Grindeks», who received it on behalf of «Grindeks» JSC.

On 17 October, 20 natural science students from all regions of Latvia, were awarded scholarships granted from the «Grindeks» Fund for the Support of Science and Education.

On September 28 «Grindeks» had taken part in the action “Scientists’ Night” („Zinātnieku nakts”), inviting guests to the company to show the unique Analytical Scaling Laboratory, the only laboratory of this kind in Baltic states at this juncture, as well as other laboratory premises.
«Grindeks» enterprise had been attended by more than 80 interested persons from Riga, Daugavpils, Vecumnieki.
