«Grindeks» project “Profession Days for Pupils” is successfully concluded

Today, on 11 May, in the ceremonial event, the joint stock company «Grindeks» has concluded “Profession Days for Pupils”. Within the project the pupils spent one day with the company`s experts and got closer acquainted with the professions related to the chemistry and the pharmaceutical industry. The project lasted from 1 February to 11 May this year and was attended by 40 pupils from 22 towns and county centers of Latvia.

On «Grindeks» audited financial results for 2011

Today, on 26 April, JSC «Grindeks» has submitted the audited consolidated financial statements for 2011 to “NASDAQ OMX Riga”. Audited financial results show that the turnover of the Group of «Grindeks» amounted to 69.6 million lats in 2011, which is by 4.5 million lats or 6.9% more than in 2010. In its turn, net profit related to the shareholders of the holding company amounted to 6.7 million lats in 2011, which, in comparison with 2010, has decreased by 0.4 million lats or 5.6%. In 2011, gross profit margin of the Group was 58.9%, whereas, net profit margin comprised 9.6%. Products of the Group, manufactured during the Year 2011, were exported to 50 countries worldwide for the total amount of 65.8 million lats.

The joint stock company «Grindeks» informs that it has received the statement of Lipmans Zeligmans on his resignation from the positions of the Board Member and Director of the Final Dosage Forms Manufacturing of «Grindeks» on his own volition with effect from 01 May this year.

JSC «Grindeks» informs that «Grindeks» today, on 1 March, was visited by the Latvian Minister of Health Ingrīda Circene, who met with the management representatives – Chairman of the Board Juris Bundulis, Board Member and Director of the Final Dosage Forms Manufacturing Lipmans Zeligmans, Board Member and Chief Finance and Administrative Officer Vadims Rabša, Director of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients Business Structure Andris Jegorovs.
