Production

The «Grindeks» active pharmaceutical ingredients plant covers an area of approximately 10,000 m². At this plant, high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients are produced in reactors of various volumes (from 100 to 6,000 litres) for both the «Grindeks» final dosage forms plant and for export to clients abroad.

Due to targeted investments over the last few years in the modernisation and expansion of the «Grindeks»Active pharmaceutical ingredients manufacturing unit, the Company has secured a rapid increase in the volume of production. The volume of production has doubled over the last four years. The current maximum capacity of the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients is 200 tons a year.

In 2010, supplies to the «Grindeks»final dosage forms plant exceeded 90 tons of active pharmaceutical ingredients, and 15 tons of substances were manufactured for export.

«Grindeks» has all the necessary resources for ensuring contracted research and contracted manufacturing in the field of active pharmaceutical ingredients. The advanced Analytical Scale-up Laboratory completed in 2007 not only provides new opportunities for researching new products, but also opens a new niche for the manufacturing of products in small batches. 

«Grindeks» is constantly investing in modernisation of technological potential and in increasing of production capacity, introducing new and environmentally friendly technologies. Reconstruction of facilities and installation of new equipment makes it possible for the company to introduce new active pharmaceutical ingredients more quickly, more succesfully and in line with the highest possible standarts.
